Sustainable Employee mental health isn’t just crucial for the wellbeing of your staff, it’s a direct priority for the performance of your business.
Each employee works an average of 92,120 hours in their lifetime.
A few statistics you may not be aware of:
1 in 6 employees experience Mental Health fatigue or illness within the workplace (Mental Health Foundation, 2024).
12.7% of absenteeism is attributed to mental health issues.
19.8% of Female full time employees were identified to be twice as likely to be off sick compared to that of men (10.9%).
If a company invested £40,000/year in Mental Health and Wellbeing support, guidance, training, strategies and therapies within the workspace to prevent absenteeism they would gain an average of £347,722 in return on investment due to less staff being off, in turn improving sales, competence, boosts morale, productivity and resources.
A report conducted by The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) concluded that 40% of employees reported their role was very or extremely stressful, with 26% of workers adding that they were “often or very often burned out or stressed by their mounting workload”.
The Mental Health Foundation states up to £8billion/year can be saved if companies incorporated improved mental health support within the workplace. You can benefit from a reduced number of sick days per year and your employee/staff engagement levels will rise tenfold.

Mindfulness (Hypnotherapy focus)
Picture the scene! Your employees receive an email from you to state that at the end of the month there will be 3 groups of employees throughout the day that will not be working for 90 mins or so during that particular day.
They have no idea what you have planned. However, to show them your appreciation for their productivity, integrity, kindness, colleague support, quality of service, etc you have a special event planned.
You decide to treat them in groups of 10 or 20 to a mindfulness session. No explanation needed, Just let them know a room number time and date.
What does this mean? 90 mins of total blissful relaxation, with music and candles (health and safety in mind), blinds down, no disruptions, no phones, no electronic devices beeping, no children, no meetings. Peace, harmony, tranquility, serenity, blissful moments of quiet!
